The owner of this 2024 Porsche Macan EV experienced serious electrical and drivability defects that affected both the safety and functionality of the vehicle. Multiple warning lights illuminated on the dashboard, the vehicle failed to start properly on several occasions, and at one point shut down while being driven. The backup camera system also malfunctioned and failed to operate correctly.

Due to the severity of the defects, the battery system and battery casing required replacement, and the backup camera system had to be recalibrated.

California’s Lemon Law protects consumers when manufacturers are unable to repair substantial defects within a reasonable number of repair attempts. A successful repurchase claim may include reimbursement for vehicle payments, down payment amounts, towing charges, rental expenses, and other recoverable damages. Attorney’s fees and costs are typically paid by the manufacturer.
