2023 Chevrolet Corvette Lemon Law Settlement in Fresno County
This 2023 Chevrolet Corvette developed significant transmission and engine defects that substantially impaired the vehicle’s reliability and performance. The transmission failed to shift properly and appeared to skip gears during operation. Technicians also discovered abnormally low transmission fluid levels during inspection.
In addition, the vehicle developed engine starting problems caused by broken starter thread castings. Because of the severity of the defects, both the engine and transmission ultimately required complete replacement.
When a manufacturer cannot successfully repair substantial vehicle defects, California’s Lemon Law may require the manufacturer to repurchase the vehicle. Consumers may be entitled to reimbursement for monthly payments, down payment amounts, towing expenses, rental vehicle costs, and other damages, while attorney’s fees and costs are paid by the manufacturer.
